Assistant Dining Room Manager
Reports to:
Food & Beverage Director
Hourly Rate:
$20.00 - $21.00
Supervises:
Catering support staff
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
A pleasant demeanor, positive attitude, and a hands-on approach.
Must have good recall for member recognition/relationships, and be courteous and friendly to all.
Previous supervisory experience, along with serving, banquet events, and bar knowledge (wine and spirits).
Experience with inventory tracking and purchasing.
Working knowledge of Excel.
Familiarity with employee scheduling.
Flexible full time availability (combination of nights, weekends, and holidays.
Daily Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with daily operations by helping with potential banquet/dining room setup and breakdown.
"Table touches" throughout service to ensure the members are having an optimal experience.
Assisting with training/scheduling of the staff.
Communicating with the kitchen about levels of service in the dining room (increases in activity, late arrivals, etc.)
Assisting with liquor/linen inventory to ensure a working knowledge of pars and product on hand.
Attending weekly staff meetings pertaining to club operations and current/ongoing banquet events.
Assisting with service as needed.
